BOIS 1920

BOIS 1920 is an Italian perfume brand founded in Florence by Guido Galardi, a man who dreamed of creating unique fragrances and wanted to open his own perfume shop. It all started in 1920, when he began to create his first formulas, experimenting with Tuscan lavender, which grew in large quantities in the surrounding fields. Actually from the word lavender (spigo) the name of the company comes: BOIS - BOttega Italiana Spigo (Italian lavender workshop). Very soon the master produced a lot of various products: essential oils, aromatic mixtures and aromatic sachets.

Guido's art was passed on to his grandson Enzo, who in 1985 became fond of the world of fragrances, gradually turned his passion into a profession and in 2005 revived BOIS 1920. Today, his son Mauro continues the family dynasty.

BOIS 1920 fragrances are unique perfume masterpieces that are the embodiment of magnificent Italy and the bottles in which they are enclosed are made of special glass, the soft muted shimmer of which creates an indescribable impression of the play of light and shadows.
